Connect to Ollama
- Make sure Ollama is running and the model has been downloaded.
- On your iPhone, use your computer’s local-network address, such as http://192.168.1.10:11434, rather than localhost.
- Allow Ollama to listen on your trusted local network.
- Keep your iPhone and Ollama computer on the same network, then use “Test connection” in Settings.
Common fixes
- If a model returns no answer, confirm its exact name in Ollama and try a shorter prompt.
- Photo questions require an Ollama vision model; text-only models cannot inspect images.
- If iPhone AI is unavailable, confirm Apple Intelligence is enabled and fully downloaded.
- Permission controls for camera, photos, microphone, speech, and local network are available in iOS Settings.
